Happy March, y'all! With the next Phase of our Comp Plan underway, our focus will be shifted to upzoning in "Centers and Corridors", otherwise known as Neighborhood Centers and Transit Corridors. Upzoning in these areas is one way that we can boost transit, give way for more trees, grow small businesses, and better connect communities across the city!
This month, we're gathering at Hellbent Brewery in Lake City to share updates on Seattle's Comprehensive Plan. We'll be joined by our friends at Share the Cities and Seattle City Council District 5 candidate Nilu Jenks! But that's not all...we'll also be providing a short recap of our recent legislative session and celebrate the passage of crucial bills! Grab a drink, cheers your neighbors, and come celebrate with the Complete Communities Coalition as we fight for more homes, of more types, in more places, for more people.
