This spring, join the Complete Communities Coalition at Farmers Markets across Seattle to share information around the city's Comprehensive Plan. Snacks, resources, and smiles will be provided. Feel free to stay for as long or little as you can; anything helps!
Our Comp Plan is sectioned into 4 Phases, and earlier this year, Phase 2 was transferred to our City Council. This current phase focuses on updating zoning along transit corridors and neighborhood centers. Increasing density along these corridors and in centers will help us better connect communities across Seattle, and provide increased access to transit, lowering emissions from driving. These are relaxed, low-pressure opportunities; any level of knowledge on the subject is welcome to volunteer!
